We've had a birthday, shout hooray!

The most wonderful time of the year is when Sean and Jennie both have a birthday on the same day:) The day began with a wonderful trip to Salt Lake to go “Grave Hopping”. Grave Hopping is one of my favorite Christmas traditions where we get to go visit some family members graves. We always start at Mount Olivet in Salt Lake where we have a family prayer and then eat amazing doughnuts from Banberry Cross and scalding hot chocolate from Grandma Zaelit’ kitchen.


After the cemetery festivities, we went to the mall to wander. Then we came back to Provo for a delicious meal at Tucanos. Since Sean, Sam, and I all have birthdays in December we had three free We both got an amazing haul of gifts.

Sean got the bullet game, two seasons of house, a season of Nero Wolfe, two sweaters, sheet music to Wicked and Enchanted, Pandemic, and money. I also got bullet and pandemic, Marley and Me, new headphones, two great sweaters, a season of home improvement, some new winter boots, and money (not to mention fifty cards and several trinkets from my wonderful students). We felt like it was early Christmas, and our apartment looked like it.


A lot of people say that it would be hard to share your birthday, I loved it!
