This past week was Sean’s Spring Break from medical school. It was so much fun to have him home with me and Brett and not worry about him having to do homework or flashcards. Sean’s oldest brother Eric came from New York and another brother Neil came with his wife Rebecca and son Kaden from Virginia. We all stayed at Sean’s parents house for the week and had a blast playing lots and lots of games, painting the shed, eating delicious food, chatting and playing with Kaden and Brett. Being with family is such a treat and reminds me why I want to live near all my family. Here are some photos of the highlights of the trip:
Uncle Neil and Brett get aquatinted
Brett likes his carseat now=)
Both Kaden and Brett thought it was so fun to sit next to each other while eating
Sean and Neil painted the shed
Kaden helped=)
We took a walk on the Canyon Rim trail, it was really beautiful!
Brett still had a cold and you can see the lovely boogers running
This was right before a major meltdown, but so cute=)
The happy grandparents took the boys in there room one afternoon to watch fantasia. Kaden ran around asking for hippos and bubbles the rest of the week, Brett was just distracted by their ceiling fan.
Cute picture, right? Not so cute when this little man woke up every hour or two during the nights this whole week! It was a nasty combo of teething, cold, new place, and being in the same room as mom and dad. Luckily last night he was back in his own bed and did a much better job!
The little boys LOVED all the old toys and Grandma and Grandpa P’s house.
Making friends with Uncle Eric
We went to the aquarium in Albuquerque on Saturday and Brett really enjoyed the fish!
He tried on a crab hat
Then his uncles tried on some hats too=)
We had a fantastic New Mexican lunch at Sadies
This is Ticket to Ride but the game we played most was Kingsburg.
Went to the park on Sunday afternoon and Brett got to try out the baby swings
He loved the sand and wanted to eat it
Classic Brett look!

Looks like you guys had a great time! It's always nice to spend time with family! ;)
