Brett chose to be baptized last Saturday and it was such a special day. We have tried to talk a lot about it this past year in preparation. We've gone over what the Covenant is and what is means. We went through the Baptismal Interview questions, (which ended up being good, because the counselor who interviewed him didn't really know what to ask, lol) The Baptism was at our Stake Center at 9 Am. So many wonderful people came to support Brett and our family. Grandma and Grandpa Peterson, Grandma and Grandpa Zaelit, Uncle Steve and Aunt Linda, Neil and Rebecca, Kaden and Alexis, then our neighbors the Ellis' and the Himle's, and our friends the Saffrons. It was overwhelming to feel such love. The service was really nice with two great short child friendly talks, then a nice musical number of Baptism. Then they took the kids one by one out of the chapel. While we waited for our turn they played bible videos. Sean performed the baptism and Brett looked so happy and excited and peaceful! Grandpa Zaelit and Grandpa Peterson were the witnesses. After the baptism the family wrote notes to Brett while Aunt Rebecca played piano, then when Sean and Brett were all changed Brett was confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Brother Jones the bishopric member asked me to bear my testimony then we all came back to our house for muffins, fruit, and breakfast casserole. The girls loved watching the baptism and have talked about how they are excited to get baptized when they turn 8. Brett's prayer that night was so wonderful as he told Heavenly Father that it had been the best day of his life. I felt so incredibly proud of the young man he is becoming!

On the same Saturday as the Baptism our HOA put on a fun free carnival with face painting, balloons, games, ice cream, Elsa and Spider Man and Bounce Houses. There was also a donut and pie eating contest! It was a blast! I really love our community!
We left the carnival a bit early and left the kids to finish the carnival with our neighbor. We went to a provider meeting for the Foothill docs and PAs. It was fun to meet so many other physicians and to watch Sean participate in the spelling bee!
The house we went to was incredible. The main music room had a grand piano and an organ!
Brett's baptism pillow that everyone colored for him at his party.
Lizzie and I went to the Aquarium while the other kids were in school on Tuesday and it was so fun to focus on her. She has gotten so talkative since starting preschool and its fun to hear what she has to say.
Oreo knows after he goes potty outside to go sit by the fridge and wait for his ham.
Preschool continues to wear out Lizzie! She falls asleep in the funnest places.
Sean had to work last Tuesday night and instead on not cooking I decided to bite the bullet and make spaghetti. It turned into Noodle Doodles which was so fun!
Alana drew an Elsa for Lizzie, he art still blows me away!
Lizzie's in a phase where she tells me to take a picture of her all the time =)
Yoga before our PTA fun run:
The kids ran their hearts out at the fun run and I'm pretty sure the school reached their 10K goal, which will really help with it being a brand new school.
What a special day for Brett! He looks so happy!
