The day we arrived home from Pennsylvania, my sister and her family arrived as well. Sam even came to the airport with my dad to pick us up. It was so lovely to see her!
On Monday, Sam, Jared, and Kaity went to visit some Brown family. Sean went to clinic and the kids and I recovered and cleaned and did laundry. I picked up Oreo from the pet hotel and harvested the beans and squash from our garden.
Tuesday was the 4th of July. Our neighborhood had its annual breakfast and kids parade. Its always fun for the kids to sit in the firetruck and ride bikes and scooters around the block. After the parade, we met Sam, Jared, Kaity and my Dad at the Top Golf. It was a very fun place! We golfed and ate yummy chips and fries and ice cream. The kids had fun! Sean and I took Lizzie back to our house to pick up Oreo and then met everyone else back at Mom and Dad's. We did tie dye and played a game. They watched an avengers movie and we had ribs and baked beans for dinner.
I think we did s'mores then Sam, Jared, and Kaity came out to our house. Mom and Dad stayed to rest up. Our neighbor does an amazing show in the street next to the church and its huge. We all went over and camped out there. Sam did some sparklers with the kids, then we watched the epic show. We were right next to the speaker and really enjoyed the fun patriotic mix. The show was so long and our kids actually got tired. Lizzie fell asleep and Brett and Alana wanted to leave right before the end. It lasted at least 90 min!
On Wednesday, we took it super easy then met up with everyone at Camera Shy for family photos. We were all so happy with how they turned out!
After family pictures we picked up a dominos pizza for our kids then met everyone at Cafe Rio. We shared some yummy dinner then Mom and Dad and Sean and the kids headed home. I went with Sam, Jared, and Kaity to Target and then to Camera Shy to view our pictures.
On Thursday, Sean had to work all day. I met my Dad and Sam's family at the bowling alley for some fun bowling and food. Then we played at the arcade for awhile. That night everyone came to our house for kebobs and s'mores.
On Friday, Sam, Jared and Kaity went to the Saratoga Springs Temple open house and then BYU to look around. We met for dinner at Texas Roadhouse with just the adults and left the kids to have some little Caesars at our house. Sean and the Browns played a game and the kids and I watched the Little Mermaid 2. Saturday the Browns headed back to Oregon and we did more laundry and recovered from our fun two weeks of family reunions.
