Lizzie built a Temple with her magnatiles:
Brett and Sean painted Brett's bedroom. It was yellow and Brett wanted it just gray like the rest of the walls. Lizzie got spacers in her mouth in preparation for her braces.
Brett performed at a fun high school band thing. They invited the 9th graders from all the feeder schools of Riverton to come and play together. It sounded really good and he had a great time! He played flute, although his band teacher has since asked him to switch to alto saxophone for the rest of the year and he is rocking that too!
Lizzie set up the coziest reading corner in her room.
Oreo and Winston like living so much closer to each other!
Oreo still hides in the bathtub when he's nervous.
Playing with his Christmas toys:
Sean took Alana and Lizzie skiing. Lizzie wasn't as big of a fan this year so she did one run and then rested in the lodge.
Sean took down the picture hanging lines in his rooms and added these shelves. We bought some fun seasons art to switch out for each season.
We bought some new cabinets for our dining room and they look really nice!
Sean took Brett and Alana skiing one Saturday and I helped my parents do some painting.
We did half the room so it was fun to see the contrast of the gray and white. The white is the new color =)
She was super brave getting them on and they didn't seem to bother her too much! She has finally been able to produce her "r" since she has gotten the expander in. Her speech teacher helped her find the places to put her tongue at her very first speech session after getting it in. I was driving in the van this past fall and had a distinct impression that maybe a palette expander would help Lizzie with her speech. Her r's and l's are really hard and she is not making progress. Her teachers are baffled because she works so hard and is so dedicated, but she just can't produce that "r" sound. Sean and I looked it up online and saw that palette expanders can sometimes help. I talked with her speech teacher and she said it was a great idea. So we got her in for a consult with the orthodontist. It really has been a miracle to watch her be able to produce a sound that has been so so hard for her!
Sean went on a Wednesday and painted one wall in my parent's kitchen blue:
Brett went off to ski with some friends and Alana and Sean got some Daddy Daughter time.
Lizzie's new years book for her bulletin board at school talks about how she wants to get her ears pierced this year. She waffles back and forth and hasn't fully decided yet, but she is thinking about it =)
Here's my amazing team, I really really love them!
The glare from the sun in the mornings in my classroom is intense so I got some curtains and I love them:
We bought some New King James versions of the bible and the words are so so small that we need magnifying glasses.
Oreo was on my team for a round of unstable unicorns.
I found my grandparents missionary tags from their service mission while scanning old documents.
We went to Brian and Jill house for a fun birthday party for Lucy!

More skiing for Brett, Alana, and Sean. They had lots of fun, ate waffles, and stayed for the whole day. We have had very little snow this year, but its still beautiful up there!

Butterfly Biosphere and the Village Baker for our family Valentines Date.
The night before we went to the Butterfly Biosphere Lizzie told me her expander had popped out. Her orthodontist called while we were at the biosphere and we decided to wait and fix it on Tuesday. My team covered for me for about 45 minutes while I got Lizzie to and from the orthodontist.
the framing in my parents basement. They hired a contractor to do att the work and its amazing how fast they are going!
Sean did a little skin procedure on Alana's foot. At the Daddy Daughter Date, the girls painted Sean's nails.

I went to Lizzie's music class to see her playing an instrument.
The Saffrons came to stay the night and Sean and Lizzie and Alana were allowed to hold Evelyn. But everyone else was too scary.
I rearranged my classroom again and really love it!
Our friend Tiffany came over and brought this yummy trifle for dessert!
We celebrated Grandpa's birthday at Top Golf!
We've been making lots of waffles!
A new ice cream shop called Snelgrove's opened in our community and we went to the grand opening for their "2 scoops for $2" promotion.
Bottom braces
Brett joined the Riverton High track team and is having fun! He is working so hard. He ran the 1600 in his first meet and got 6 min 30 sec!
We took out some ugly bushes at Grandma and Grandpa's new house!
