Family Visit

Mom and Dad Z as well as Sam and Kaity came to visit this past weekend. Brett absolutely loved meeting his grandparents from Utah and was a terrific sport about being held by two year old cousin Kaity. I didn’t get to hold my little man as much this past weekend as there were so many others who wanted to hold him=) Today is our first day all alone and its amazing to see how much Brett has grown in the last two weeks. He is so alert and is staring at me right now while he sits in his little bouncer chair.

Mom and Dad arrived on Wednesday evening and immediately became best friends with Brett:

It was serious business when Kaity was holding Brett! She wouldn’t smile and was so gentle with her little cousin. Every time she wanted to hold him she would drag the boppy pillow over to the baby.

We went to a place called Uptown Abq on Thursday. They have some fantastic fountains that Kaity, Sam, and Sean all played in. Kaity loved running through the water and giggling.



Brett was just chillin, he says he’ll play in the water next time.


Brett had his circumcision on Friday morning so Sean skipped lecture to come with us. Brett did amazing and has been such a good sport the whole weekend. They also weighed him and he has gained almost a pound. What a good eater=)

We went to White Rock on Friday to hang with Mom and Dad P. Kaity slept in Brian’s bed and looked so cute all curled up in such a huge bed.

We went to Gabriels for lunch on Saturday then on to Sante Fe to show Sam Old Town. There was a huge art show and it was so crowded so unfortunately Brett and I got nervous, mostly me. Too many people around my newborn, so we found a quiet spot to sit.

Brett went to Sacrament meeting on Sunday. So cute!

Mom Z has a birthday this coming week so we celebrated with a delicious Roast and excellent cake. Happy Birthday Mamma Z!

Sean pretends to feed our son chocolate=) I think he better wait about a year for that.

Brett has his two week check up tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if he has gained another pound since he LOVES to eat!

We are so thankful for all the love and support from all our family and friends. It has been such a fun a busy two weeks and we have had so much help, THANK YOU!!!
