The seventh and last of many posts: Odds and Ends

Brett loves Elroy so much! He had a great time following him around and around the couch and banging on the windows and laughing when Elroy would bark. IMG_3073-2012-06-27-19-35.jpgWe journeyed out to Kennecott copper mine one day which was really big! We both learned a lot about mining and copper and had a great time. The instant we arrived at my parents house he immediately started booking it up the stairs! He climbed into this basket and climbed out. He tries to climb into the bathtub and onto the couch. He also stood on his own for a few seconds the other day! IMG_3241-2012-06-27-19-35.JPG He has also started licking his hands to get crumbs off, its really cute!IMG_3264-2012-06-27-19-35.JPGI thought this was an awesome sequence of billboards on our way home. If you can’t see it the first one has a picture of Jesus on it and said “Jesus is watching you” and the second one is for an adult video store.IMG_3256-2012-06-27-19-35.JPG

    Life is full of ironies like those 2 billboards. Kennecott is a fascinating place to visit--Daddyguy was a copper miner but he had to ride an elevator down into tunnels in Bisbee, AZ. Brett and Elroy--what a pair!! I notice Elroy is the same height as Brett when he puts his front paws up on the glass doors--no one they understand each other so well--they see life from the same perspective! =-) And the picture of him licking off the crumbs is terrific! It's like he discovered another food source all on his own!
