Three of many posts: Boise

My sister and her husband just bought a beautiful new home in Boise. Jared got a job working for Micron and they were able to find a 5 bedroom house for an amazing price. It used to be a model home so its got lots of bells and whistles=) We went up for Father’s Day weekend to see Sam, Jared, and Kaity and to see their new home. We left after my parents got off work on Friday evening. It was a 6 hour drive and we arrived around midnight, I even drove the last stretch and successfully stayed awake with the help of doritos and water and chats with Sean. We stayed in their biggest room (minus the master) which was huge and it had a huge walk in closet that we put Mr. Brett in. We have had an awful time getting this little man to stay asleep all night but since going to Utah he has been sleeping all the way through the night!!! He did it again last night here in Albuquerque so we’re hoping this new rule will stay! I will give you a brief synopsis of our activities through these photos:

Kaity was such a good cousin and played so nicely with Mr. Brett. I understood why it can be manageable to have two kids as these little ones occupied each other for hours!We went to the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning where we sampled lots and lots of delicious food and Kaity got to play with the grandpa and uncle. Jared has to work on Saturdays so he didn’t get to come along.They have a small backyard which I think is awesome, especially since you can see this huge grassy field and park and pool right behind them.We went to Chili’s after the Farmers Market, mmmm!On Father’s day Brett wore this little onesie that said I love Dad. Sean’s father’s day gift never came and the talks in church were kinda downers so it felt like a pretty lame fathers day! I think Sean enjoyed being with family though.We tried to recreate one of our engagement photos, but alas the camera was off center!I am in LOVE with this little girl!! This picture is so so cute!We went to this restaurant on Monday called the Boise Fry Company. As you can see from the menu it was amazing! My favorite part was that the burgers are considered a side=) The boys played wii frisbee golf!Kaity snuggling with he grandpa! So cute=)
