"Okay let's do that"

Brett has been saying ‘okay, let’s do that” whenever we suggest something that sounds good. The funny thing is he is usually sad or quiet or monotone when he says it so it doesn’t sound like he is very excited. When I woke him up at 5 last week to head off to Utah for Christmas he said in his cute sleepy voice “okay, let’s do that”.
We left on Sunday and drove straight through. We carpooled with Mom and Dad Peterson. 4 adults and 2 children with carseats plus luggage and Christmas gifts all in one minivan! It was a miracle everything fit=) the 10 1/2 hour drive took us 12 1/2 with a newborn and 2 year old but it went really good. Brett was an angel and Alana slept most of the time. Brett got to ride in the very back and was covered in blankets and pillows and had a nice setup for watching Daniel Tiger on the i-pad.

We were all thrilled to arrive and my parents house in West Jordan to a delicious roast dinner and lots of awesome Christmas decorations.

We spent the next day grocery shopping for Christmas meals and goodies, playing in the snow, and eating a yummy dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory with my Grandma.

This was the first time my Grandma got to meet Alana. It was really great to see My Grandma Ruth holding her my little Alana Ruth.
