Alana had a wonderful birthday. We celebrated on Saturday and her actual Birthday was on Sunday so when she woke up and heard Grandma listening to her birthday movie, she was so excited to go watch.
Alana got a little piano for her birthday and Brett thought it was a great game to play duets with his daddy. He kept begging Sean to play more songs.
My sister and her family came to my parents house the night before Thanksgiving. It was so fun to see them all! Our kids always wake up early and everyone else in my family sleeps in a little (especially on holidays), so while we were waiting for everyone to get up we did a little photo shoot. Sean bought me a new tripod and remote for my camera so we tried taking our own family pics this year. Alana was feeling pretty crummy with her cold and she also thought it was weird to look at the camera, but the pictures turned out really cute. One of my favorite parts of this shoot was that Brett was holding his car still =)
Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and the company was wonderful! Here are random pics of the Thanksgiving prep and festivities:
Kaity and Brett had such a nice time playing together all day on Thanksgiving. Kaity was a great sport because all Brett wanted to do was play cars!
The sweet potatoes on the left are Sean’s and my absolute favorite dish! Sweet potatoes with butter, brown sugar, and marshmallows!
Brett and Kaity made these cute Turkeys and Kaity wrote everyones names on them:
We did an early Christmas with Sam and Jared before they went back to Idaho:
Alana got her very first nightgown =)
Brett gave Kaity a minnie car. The top of his Christmas wish list is a Mickey remote control car that matches =)
We also had an early Christmas with Mom and Dad Z and Grandma. Brett and Alana got some fun new big cars to ride on around the house. I’m sure I have pics somewhere but I can’t find them right now.
