This was our third year going to Cornbellys. We spend way too much money for a pumpkin patch and have tons and tons of fun! They rearranged this year which was fun and its always fun to see whats new.
This witches hat was often playing magical music and blowing fake snow.
The little town was darling and Sean taught us in school.
This is the highlight of their lives. I somehow didn't get a picture of Alana on it.
They had a very funny Ventriloquist show!
Alana got some knee and elbow pads for her roller blades. She finds them uncomfortable, lol!
There was a lunar eclipse and we had a pretty good view of it! Mimi got us some neat glasses so we could look at the sun and we went on a walk around the block during the climax of it. We loved seeing the crescent shaped shadows. and had fun trying to make them with our hands.
Sean has continued to compose lots of music and wants to do one with a guitar part. He bought a guitar and has been learning to play.
We had to stop to get some crickets and the reptile store and the girls wanted to hold a snake.
My neighbor sent me this photo from forever ago when we first moved to Bluffdale. the kids were so little!
Granger had an employee party at the Aquarium this year. They paid for Sean's admission and we got some discounted tickets for the rest of us. We bought some good tickets for the R&R catered BBQ. We got to enjoy the exhibits, do a scavenger hunt, pet the sting rays, get our faces painted, and had lots of fun. We picnicked outside and brought blankets to sit on. Brett turned into a burrito.
Sean held Brett up to the penguins like we used to when he was little.

The whole venue was rented out and it was a lot of fun to be there with so much fewer people.
My sister made Brett a merman with a luscious beard and mustache for his birthday. It is soooo cute!
I got a call from the school one day while I was getting ready to leave to teach. They said Alana had fallen on the monkey bars and her wrist was really hurting and was bent a bit funny. I called Sean and asked him where I should take her to get an x-ray. He said he would figure that out and let me know. I got to the school and found her in lots of tears. It was so sad. I went to my classroom and my roommate Shulamith was able to take my class. I wrote out the times for different things the kids needed to do and she just did what she had done with her class. Then Alana and I went to the car and called Sean. He said to go ahead and just come to his office in West Valley. It was a long car ride for poor Alana who was in a lot of pain. I couldn't get my phone to play disney + either. We got there and signed in at the urgent care. They took us back pretty quickly and got an x-ray. It was for sure broken and the doctor said she was lucky she had only broken one bone. The bone needed to be reduced (set back into place). The doctor asked Alana if she wanted to have a numbing shot or just have it done quick. We decided a numbing shot would be good because it would provide pain relief for the rest of the night. She was so scared and kept telling me she couldn't do it! But we talked about how we can do all things through Christ and she let the doctor do the shot. As soon as she had the shot, she felt a ton of relief and he was able to splint her wrist and set the bone. They did an x-ray to make sure the bone was where it was supposed to be and then we were told to come back in two weeks.

She was feeling much better and had smiles after she had her shot and splint and the bone was back where it was supposed to go.
