We got home from Disneyland just in time to celebrate Halloween. We carved pumpkins, dressed up, and got lots of candy.
Here I am with my team, I was Tinker Bell for our Peter Pan theme.
Bretts pumpkin is on top with the mustache, then Alanas is the bat, Lizzie's the cat, and Sean and mine the ghosts.
Lots of the neighborhood kids would walk by our house every night to look at our frog.
Brett was lego yoda, Alana was a fox, and Lizzie a mermaid.

This is a "mic mac" that Lizzie made years ago. It hung on the buffet table in our dining room for a long time. We moved the buffet to the office this month so the mic mac came down.
Alana lost a tooth with a bracket on it! She had a wiggle tooth so when we went to the orthodontist they tried to take the bracket off, but it wouldn't come off so they just left it out of the wire. It fell out that night. The tooth fairy left extra because the tooth had a tiara.
The clouds were above the temple when Brett and I left martial arts one night. The glow was really cool!

The girls set up their stuffed animals for an epic portrait.
Sean cleaned out the garage and wanted to take a picture of this railing he made for our stairs when his dad was struggling with his balance so much. It didn't end up being very sturdy so we took it down.
Brett's original measuring stick was too short so Sean got him a new one and transferred all the measurements to it.
Lizzie joined the Mountain Point Melodies choir at school and they did a really lovely Veterans Day concert.

Alana decided she wanted to do a swimming birthday party. We reserved the party room and were looking forward to it! Then she broke her arm and we had to pivot. We decided on a spa birthday. She invited her friends and we did pedicures, manicures, facials, cake, homemade pretzels, and relaxing music.
It was a lot of fun and I was so grateful to have Stephanie and Kari come help me paint nails and toes!
We helped Grandpa put up some ornaments.

Lizzie's grade did a Thanksgiving balloon parade. She decorated a balloon and got to parade it through the halls on the last day before Thanksgiving break.
Alana got to get her cast off and it felt sooo good! Man did that thing stink!
Her bone had healed well and stayed in place. It will keep gaining strength and healing over the next 6 months.
Alana turned 10 on Thanksgiving Day! She opened her presents and we had a chill morning, then we had Thanksgiving dinner at our house with Grandma and Grandpa and Brian and Jill and Xander and Lucy.
Brett has been working on a clay creation of a bearded dragon in art class:

It snowed! This is the most snow we have gotten this year so far and I writing this the end of December. It has been so much drier and warmer than last year.
We attended the Orem Temple open house and really enjoyed the beauty of the red cherry blossoms. It was a beautiful sacred place!
We set up the Christmas tree. I am always amazed by the magic of the twinking lights.
The night before Thanksgiving we went to see Wish in the theater, then Thanksgiving night we went to see the new Trolls movie, then the day after the kids and I babysat Xander and Lucy while Sean, Brian, Jill, and Dad Z went to see the new Hunger Games movie.
Alana moved up to Flip 2 at gymnastics and Lizzie read a book and did her sleep dance while waiting for Alana to finish one night. We moved Lizzie's class to later now too so they are both at 5-6.
Alana did a great job climbing the tall rope!
