Halloween

We got home from Disneyland and jumped right into Halloween Week. Oreo got a fun Bad to the Bone shirt!
We carved our pumpkins and had Graham join us. I did the Mickey, Lizzie and Sean did the cat, Alana did a skull with a candle on top and Brett did the moon and stars.

My team dressed as pirates for Halloween. I really love these women!

Brett got this amazing picture of Saturn through his telescope.
Alana dressed as Belatrix from the Harry Potter books. She looked so creepy. We needed another can of black hair dye for her hair haha!

Lizzie was a chicken rider! She was so happy!
Brett was a pirate.

We unfortunately had a little stomach bug pass through the house. Brett was feeling a bit under the weather and ended up throwing up in the night the day before Halloween. He stayed home from school that day, but had recovered enough to go Trick or Treating. Lizzie had been feeling a little off but had a great time at her Halloween parade and party. After a quick dinner, the kids and I drove over to my coworker Meagan's house to say hi and trick or treat. We got some huge Laffy Taffy from her and then drove back home. On the way home Lizzie said her stomach hurt and she started throwing up. It was so sad because it got all over her costume and I just threw it away because it wasn't really cleanable. We got her in the tub and snuggled on the couch to watch Descendents while Brett and Alana started Trick or Treating. Alana took Lizzie's bag and filled it with candy for her =) We had so so many trick or treaters! Sean and I just sat on the driveway and passed out candy to the steady streams of kids.
My favorite costumes were these cute neighbors Nora and Mae dressed up as Annie and Halle from The Parent Trap.

And of course the Cassell girls dressed as Janet and Rita from Bluey! We had a funny political sign in our yard saying vote for these grannies, so the girls posed for a picture for me!

The candy sorting is always an important part!

It was a fun Halloween!
