We had to be off the boat at like 8:30 AM and if we wanted breakfast it was in the 1923 dining room at 6:30. We got up nice and early and headed to breakfast. It was a very yummy meal with lots of delicious food and pastries. It was a nice relaxing meal even though it was so early. We got everything packed up and started heading to the grand hall to exit. We chose to carry all our luggage off the ship instead of setting it outside our rooms the night before. We had a lot of bags between all 8 of us and it was a bit exhausting. I did feel like it was so much smoother than getting off the Royal Caribbean ship. They didn't even have to check our documents, they just scanned our faces to make sure we matched what was in the system. It was sad to say goodbye to the ship. I think we all wish it was a few more days.

Once we got off the ship we found the shuttle for the car rental place. We had to wait awhile for them to come get us but we finally got to the rental place and got our huge van. We drove to the Kennedy Space Center. Everyone was a little tired and the girls were a little cranky. But we ended up having a lot of fun! We weren't really sure what to expect so we just wandered around and Brett was in heaven!! We ate at a cafe there, Sean, the kids, Mom P and my dad went to an imax movie then we all did some shopping at the huge NASA store. We went to the Atlantis building not knowing what to expect and we were so amazed to learn about this amazing ship and see it in person! We got some ice cream and then went back to the rental car and drove to the airport.
Our flights home were very smooth and we got back home and immediately went to sleep. We picked up Oreo the next morning and got things unpacked and cleaned up. It was such a wonderful vacation and we definitely bought a placeholder for our next cruise so that we get 10% off! Here is the sunrise on the morning after we got back welcoming us home!
