Here is Sean moving a ginormous box down the stairs and our kitchen as a huge mess:)
This is the front room. It is the room you enter as your first come into the house. There isn’t enough room in the kitchen for our table so we put it in the front room. This is by far the darkest room in the house. We tried to buy lights from IKEA to brighten it, but it is just so dark.
Here is another view of the entry room, I like it about a thousand times more now that we have this way cool painting.
This is the TV room. It is pretty cozy, but we love being able to look at the TV straight on rather than sideways. We are also loving the new rabbit ear things Papa Jo Zaelit gave us, we actually watched TV the other night. And today when I came home from church sick I could watch channel 11 for some good MOTAB.
Here is the staircase. These stairs are rather steep and narrow, but they have very nice carpet so we don’t worry too much.
Our new home has an amazing washer and dryer but still no second bedroom. Luckily our new room is huge so there is plenty of room for a crib. This is the wall that we will put the crib on so we are leaving it alone for now so we can put up some cute decor once we find out the newest Peterson’s gender.
Here is our bed with the gorgeous quilt made by Mama Jo Zaelit:)
We have a lovely door in our bedroom that leads outside to the roof. We really like it a lot and look forward to planting some flowers and vegetables up here.
There is a small landing between our bedroom and the bathroom, Sean’s closet resides here.
I think the biggest change we made in the house was to the bathroom. The lighting felt like there was just a little night light. It was so dark, we felt like we were camping. Sean bought a fluorescent fixture and installed it. It was pretty cheap and we just need to tape the cord so it doesn’t hang. It was well worth the $20
Here is the kitchen, although it looks smaller it is actually quite a bit bigger its just a really long narrow room. Also notice the beautiful dishwasher (it doesn’t work:( ) Hopefully maintenance will come fix it soon but until then Sean makes a wonderful dish washer:)
Now what you have all been waiting for!
It is so beautiful!!!!

Looks like you guys got a nice place.
ReplyDeleteI am envious of that roof-door, that looks like a lot of fun!
