Alana

Alana had her 6 month birthday last Thursday and I spent the day wondering where the time has gone! She is such a fun little girl! She is always giggling and grabbing things to put in her mouth. Here are some other fun facts about her:

*At her 6 month appointment she weighed 16 lbs (50%) and I can’t remember how long she was but it was the 75th percentile.

*She mostly wears 3-6 month clothes, although she still fits in several 0-3 month pants and onesies and we have also pulled out a few 6-9 month outfits.

*She is wearing cloth diapers most of the time and she wears size 2 disposables for the other times =)

*Alana loves to eat oatmeal, squash, sweet potatoes, peas, pears, applesauce, bananas, and peaches. She loves arrowroot cookies and feeding herself with the baby mesh feeders.

*She still breastfeeds with one bottle of formula a day

*She LOVES to roll! She can roll from back to tummy and tummy to back and really enjoys reading her puffy book on her tummy.

*She LOVES toys especially if she can put them in her mouth. She also loves jumping in her bouncer.

*Brett gets two tv times a day and Alana likes to sneak peaks at his Daniel Tiger and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

*She is sleeping for 2 4-5 hour stretches at night right now which isn’t my favorite since I know she is capable of a 9 hour stretch!

*She is still pretty bald and we keep encouraging her to grow some hair =)

*Alana loves to watch Brett and some of my favorite moments are when we are in the car or sitting at lunch and they just look at each other and laugh. She doesn’t like being sat on or layed on while she is nursing though.

*Alana is very conversational and loves to chat and blow raspberries at us. She is so in love with her daddy and gives him the biggest smiles when she sees him.
