Sean:
Sean finished his ER rotation last Friday. We celebrated by going to Red Robin and eating lots of yummy food=) He started his last required rotation this week. It is called Medicine in New Mexico and is a public health rotation with a clinical aspect. He is working with a nice elderly dermatologist cutting out skin cancers and freezing off other skin things. The hours are AWESOME! Unfortunately he has to write this big public health paper, so that is taking up all the free time. He is writing his paper on melanoma and its prevalence in young adults. He has been practicing a piece to play in church on the 15th. We decided to clean out our storage unit to save $50 a month before we move and also so we could go through lots of the junk we’ve acquired in the last 4 years so Sean has kept busy moving boxes from the unit to our patio.
Jennie:
Jennie is trying to stay sane with the kiddos while dreaming of more square footage and perhaps central air! I have been looking through lots of Craigslist and Zillow listings and dreaming about what kind of place we might move to. Of course its all kinda silly right now since we haven’t even matched yet and won’t until the 20th. Its still fun to look at different rent prices and try to decide what we can afford and what is important to us. I have been hanging in there with my health challenge-only 2 more weeks! I got some new running shoes that have memory foam in them which is really exciting.
Brett:
Brett is a very emotional child! He so happy and sweet and easy to handle one day and then the next he is like a crazy emotional teenager. He has been loving trains lately and has especially been enjoying putting tracks together in different configurations. He loves reading books and playing with friends. We went to a friends house yesterday and Brett had so much fun playing trains, zoo, and jumping on the trampoline. He recently got some new blue tennis shoes that are super cool and super fast. He loves to help with everything I do. He loves dogs and knows Alana loves them too so he shows her a dog every time he finds one. He loves to help cook and dance to any music. He is great at saying prayers and has been learning so much in primary.
Alana:
Alana has finally taken a few steps! Its about time =) She can stand on her own now and will take one or two steps when forced. She likes to do whatever Brett is doing. She is absolutely obsessed with dogs! She can glare-like really grumpy mean glare! Its kind of amusing although a little distressing when the glare is directed at you. She is still drinking her milk from a bottle and has no plans to give it up. Sean says we aren’t taking the bottles with us when we move in May, I think he’s kidding himself =)
