Halloween and Fall Fun

Pictures and thoughts in no particular order:
My parents went to Hawaii and had the time of their lives! They brought back all kinds of trinkets including this awesome Hawaiian shirt for Brett. We missed them while they were gone and we were so glad when they came home! Hopefully next time we can join them =)

Several months ago I told the kids that if we didn't get to go to Disneyland we would go to Lagoon. After everything that happened, it didn't end up making sense to go to Lagoon. We decided to go to a local pumpkin patch carnival called Cornbellys and it was so so fun! We've decided that we are going to try and go each year! We bought these little punch cards with out admission that allowed us to ride rides, get slushies and caramel apples, do certain activities etc. A lot of stuff was free as well and we did a wide variety. The kids very very favorite thing was the giant trampolines that they got to be in a harness and jump so so high.

This is after trick or treating. Brett and Eli got so much candy!
We carved pumpkins on halloween right after church at the park with our st marks friends.
Sean decorated for Thanksgiving at work.
Rebecca and Neil gift to our family this year for Christmas and they took us to Disney on Ice in early November. We had sooo much fun and really enjoyed the show and the treats! Neil wasn't able to come because he had some sinus surgery that week and wasn't feeling up to it, but Rebeccas mom Carol joined us instead which was super fun!

Alana had a field trip to the zoo and I got to chaperone her group! It was so fun to spend time together especially with so much other stuff going on in our lives right then. We rode the bus together, ate lunch together, saw all the animals, played on the playground and took lots of pictures of her and our group. Alana was in heaven the whole time and I was a bit exhausted after, but it was totally worth it.

Playing with the chair lift

Lizzie was invited to a tea party birthday party and I didn't have a chance to get a gift, so I made a little American Girl Doll blanket and pillow out of Minky scraps for the birthday girl.
When Alana decided that she wanted to be a witch, Lizzie decided she would be a witch too =)

I took the kids to the museum of curiosity over fall break and we all had a fun time!

More Cornbelly's pictures:

There was a fun dog show when we first got to cornbellys and then a fun patriotic light show at the end of the night.
While Sean and Alana used up our last punches to go on one last ride, Lizzie, Brett and I found this crooked house.

Oreo likes to get our bed all ready for us each night. Sometimes he just snuggles in and other times he pushes the pillows off and pulls the quilt down for us =)
We went to my parents and Oreo and Winston were getting  bit too crazy, so I made a "place" for Oreo and he did a great job relaxing on it.
We got a new music leader at church and Brett had fun with her props one day.
Lizzie's friend Lucy brought her a Best Friend heart necklace.
Here is when Aunt Rebecca told the kids they were getting to go to Disney on Ice. They didn't really know what it meant, but they loved it!

Brett was invited to go back to Cornbellys with the Young Men the week after we went. He loved it and wants to go to Young Men always now. The leader says he can come any time he would like. His primary activity leaders also did another activity where they taught the boys how to play pickle ball.
Alana's baptism dress came:
The first friday of the month, parents can come to the birthday bash and eat with their child who has a birthday that month. Lizzie and I got to go have pizza with Alana. It was very fun!
